Event takes place over the course of 4 days. The 2025 tournament will be held January 23-26, 2025. The Miners for Cancer Hockey Challenge was the first fundraising event for the group and has been an annual event since 1996. The event was renamed to the Miners for Cancer Allan Epps Memorial Hockey Challenge in memory of co-founder Allan Epps after his untimely passing in 2005.
